Travel to Spain by Taking a Ferry From Murcia Airport

Murcia Airport, also known as San Miguel Airport is a minor military airport located 13 km south of Murcia, Spain in the region of San Miguel de Allende. In recent years, since it's a small commercial airport, servicing mainly seasonal flights from United Kingdom, it only handled approximately 1.1 million passenger loads per year. This has made it one of the busiest airports in Spain, with direct flights from London, Manchester and Edinburgh.

To travel to Murcia Airport, you need to use your local travel agent or call them on your phone to book your ticket. Most Murcia Airport transfers will take you directly to your hotel after your travel arrangements are complete. However, the best time to travel to this airport is between the month of January to the first week of march. In this period, most airlines offer discounted prices on hotel bookings and transfers. In the first week of March, many airlines start offering special rates and low cost airfares on long haul flights to Murcia and its surrounds. The same phenomenon takes place during the summer season, when the demand for air travel is at its peak.

If you have already made your hotel reservations, then the next step is to hire a car rental from Murcia Airport. There are two car rental companies, namely Auto Europe, which has branches in all major towns, including Murcia; Carhire bravo, which has branches at all major cities in Spain; and International Auto Europe, which has branches in key cities all over Europe. These companies have car rental counters inside the airport premises, which you can access from the Airport parking. If you are traveling with children, then you should book a vehicle according to their age, so that you can collect them at the right place and time.

Once you have collected your children, you can ask for a taxi from the airport's public transport terminal. The taxis here run regularly on the designated routes. You can use the same taxi to go to all the major destinations, as it will be the fastest mode of travel. The bus system in Murcia Airport also provides buses to the destinations around the airport.

Before travelling to Murcia Airport, you will need to arrange your itinerary based on the major tourist attractions in Spain. This will help you arrive in Spain in the best possible manner. For instance, you will not need to change your flight schedule to go to the city of Barcelona or Madrid. You can continue your journey to Murcia by using the same taxi to get to the other cities in Spain.

On reaching the town of San Jose, you can stop for a short break to eat some snacks and then continue to your hotel. You can also take a taxi or rent a car to reach your hotel. There is no need to change your hotel since there are plenty of hotels located nearby the airport. If you stay at a good hotel in Torrevieja or Murcia, you can even have the benefit of enjoying free services such as heated swimming pools, gym, games room, internet access, cable television and complimentary breakfast. Thus, you can have all the comfort and facilities of home without any additional expenditure at all when you stay at a luxury hotel in Torrevieja or Murcia.
